What to expect from your facelift

During the procedure, excess skin will be removed, and the remaining skin will be tautened and secured using sutures in the hairline and front of and beneath the ears. You may choose to add volume in atrophy places using fillers or a natural fat grafting procedure while you are still resting comfortably under general anaesthesia. We often perform this procedure in conjunction with an upper and or lower eyelid procedure (Blepharoplasty).

RECOVERY

Delicate facial tissue requires a little downtime

A drain and bandages will be applied during the twenty-four hours after treatment. You will have your sutures removed up to ten days after the procedure. However, it is still recommended that you have two weeks off work to heal and rehabilitate from a facelift Perth procedure completely. After two weeks, bruising and swelling should have mostly receded, exposing your youthful, taut, and refreshed face, which looks 8-10 years younger.
